Food & Drink!
The Woolpack Inn is a 17th century Inn situated between Ringwood
and Christchurch in a village known as Sopley. The Woolpack Inn through the
years has had many interesting customers, it is said that during the second
world war The Woolpack was constantly used as a meeting place for soldiers. Also
more important officials such as Sir Winston Churchill are said to have had
meetings at the Woolpack. Also other historically known people such as Gretta
Garbo have also stopped and had a drink at the Woolpack.
If you come to the Woolpack
you will find a very friendly atmosphere, with beamed bar areas, open fires and
conservatory dining area overlooking a very pretty stream. Outside there is a
delightful terrace garden overlooking the stream, perfect for lazy summer days!
A fine selection of beers, wines and real ales is always available. And why not
try something off the innovative and varied blackboard menu with daily specials
and for those people with a sweet tooth an item of the sweet menu is a must!
